About Little Explorers Academy

Our Story

Little Explorers Academy began in a tiny basement bedroom in 2016. After 4 years of opening, COVID and life pushed us to close for a few years. In 2025 we joyfully reopened in a new and much improved space occupying a 1200 square feet basement apartment equipped with a full kitchen and all the space we need to make this dream come true.

Our goal is simple: to make early learning a positive experience that children look forward to every day.

The preschool years are filled with some of life’s most exciting discoveries. At Little Explorers Academy, we believe children deserve a place where they can learn at their own pace, ask questions, make friends, and feel proud of what they accomplish.

Through play, hands-on activities, creative experiences, and supportive relationships, we help children develop socially, emotionally, and academically while encouraging their natural curiosity.

Why choose us?

What We Value

At Little Explorers Academy, we believe the best early learning experiences nurture the whole child.

Curiosity

We encourage children to ask questions, explore their interests, to discover the world around them.

Creativity

We give children opportunities to imagine, create, experiment, and express themselves.

Connection

We nurture positive relationships between children, teachers, and families.

Growth

We celebrate each child's progress while helping them build confidence, independence, and early learning skills.

Our Approach

Learning through Play

Children don’t have to sit still to learn. We incorporate play, movement, creativity, exploration, and hands-on experiences into the learning environment.

Through these experiences, children practice communication, cooperation, problem-solving, early academic skills, and independence in ways that feel natural and enjoyable.

Grow Together

Choosing a preschool is an important decision. We want families to feel welcomed, informed, and confident in the community they are joining.
We value communication and partnership with families and recognize that every child has their own personality, interests, strengths, and needs. Your child's next adventure starts here.
